Dragonhill Systems Ltd is a consultancy, providing bespoke real-time programming solutions, in particular for the satellite TV broadcasting, energy distribution, and telecommunications industries.
This Domain name may be available to anyone who comes up with a sensible
offer!
Contact us for further details .
Dragonhill Systems Ltd has absolutely NOTHING to do with «Digital Subscriber Line» (DSL) technology; we registered the dsl.co.uk domain way back in 1991, before anyone had even thought of it. Therefore please do not come to us to enquire about getting an always-on connection to the Internet!
Neither are we anything to do with the company that organizes events for mountain bikers in Wales; they are Dragon Downhill
Mail is sometimes addressed to various unknown people @dsl.co.uk; this gets returned to sender, because we only accept mail for known addressees. It's frequently the case that the sender meant to send to someone in a domain similar to, but not, dsl.
So if you've sent mail to someone, and have visited this page to try to understand why it might have bounced, please note that the following are the correct domains (the bit to the right of the @-sign) for the companies named:
| Company | Domain |
|---|---|
| Dunlop-Slazenger International Ltd | dsil.co.uk |
| DSL Consultants Ltd | dslc.co.uk |
| DSL Computer Communications Ltd | dslcomms.co.uk |
| Datasound Laboratories Ltd | dsl-ltd.co.uk |
| Data Sciences Ltd | datasci.co.uk |
| Dark Systems (London) Ltd | dsll.co.uk |
| Defence Services Ltd (part of BMT Group) | bmtdsl.co.uk |
| this is not | bmt.dsl.co.uk |
| NDSL Group (formerly Newport Data Systems Ltd) | ndsl.co.uk |
| Pipex's DSL Service | dsl.pipex.com |
| Applebys (Travel) | applebys.ds1.co.uk |
(Note that last one very carefully; it's dee-ess-one, not dee-ess-ell!)
In addition, some people misaddress mail to the Defence Services Ltd subsidiary of British-Aerospace as bae.dsl.co.uk; their domain used to be baedsl.co.uk but no longer exists; recourse should be made direct to bae.co.uk.
None of the following has anything to do with Dragonhill Systems Ltd as such: they're just here for historical reasons :-)
With the demise of the Finnish anon remailers, some people might care to follow some links to anonymous remailers. Note that this list was compiled quite some time ago (August 1996) and many no longer work.
Some of us are quite interested in Risk! (It's a terrific board-game.)
For the benefit of those of my friends who can't find their way to Columbia, I've put an MS-Kermit distribution on this site.
